  Top Hat/Smokey's...its complicated.
  
  I'm from Toronto, so maybe I'm spoiled, but when you live in 'downtown' Sault Ste. Marie there are limited options most nights for a pint.  There are a couple great pubs here but sadly they are not open Sun-Tues.
  
  Top/Hat Smokey's is open from 5pm-2am every day, so they have that in their corner. Other than that, they don't offer much. They have the typical domestic drafts on tap - which is fine - but the problem is that ownership doesn't clean the lines. (I made the mistake of drinking the draft once, I paid dearly the next day.) Stick with the cans and bottles and you'll be fine.
  
  They have a load of pool tables and tabletop games available and a pretty awesome jukebox.
  
  I haven't bothered eating there. The entire menu is pre-packaged, deep-fried foods, and they don't bother employing a chef. The bartenders and servers have to do the cooking. Wtf?
  
  It is pretty slow Sun-Thurs. The place is JAMMED with teenagers Friday and Saturday, so if you are over the age of 25, don't bother. Unless that's your type of thing.
  
  This place has two redeeming qualities, the hours of operation and the staff. I wanted to give this place two stars, but as I said the staff the staff is great so I'll give it three based on them. If you are looking for a drink and a smile, then Top Hat/Smokey's will do you well. If you are looking for anything more, go elsewhere.
